What This Is
Not Every Track Day Needs A Race License. Racing Does.
A casual public driving experience, Rally Kart booking, Kartplex session, or Academy 27 program is different from entering an ORRA 27 sanctioned racing event. If your goal is organized club racing, lapping approval, a license upgrade, or entering a race weekend at Area 27, ORRA 27 is the license authority you need to work through.
Area 27 is the venue and application pathway. ORRA 27 governs the license review, approval, rules, procedures, and competition standards. That keeps the process clear: you apply through the Area27.com flow, and ORRA 27 remains the body that grants and administers the license.
Submitting a license application does not guarantee approval. Applicants must show the right experience, paperwork, medical package, and event/class fit before ORRA 27 can approve a license.
