Electric Kid Kart sessions serve ages 4-7. Drivers ages 8-12 must complete the Rookie Racer course before public Arrive + Drive karting.
Qualified drivers can progress to the 125cc RMax experience after completing an R25 session with instructor supervision and passing the licence test.
Kartplex supports league racing, private groups and corporate events with maintained karts, timing and trackside support.
Kartplex is approximately eight minutes from downtown Oliver and is open to the public. It gives families, friends, teams and visitors a motorsports experience within easy reach of Oliver, Osoyoos, Penticton and the South Okanagan wine region.
Plan it as a stand-alone karting session, a friendly group challenge or part of a broader visit to Area 27. The live booking calendar shows available sessions, while Kartplex can help coordinate private and corporate groups.

Allow time for check-in, waivers, equipment and the driver briefing before your session.
Sandals and flip-flops are not permitted. Dress for current outdoor weather conditions.
Public race bookings include a helmet and balaclava. Personal helmet use is subject to Kartplex approval.
Every driver under age 19 requires a parent or guardian to complete the Kartplex waiver.
The published rental-kart limit is 260 lb / 116 kg, and every driver must safely fit and exit the seat.
Drivers ages 8-12 must book and complete the Rookie Racer course before public kart racing.
Drivers require a Kartplex/Area 27 membership or the applicable daily pit pass shown by Kartplex.
Kartplex does not operate in rain. Review the live booking terms for weather credit information.
Every driver must meet the following participation requirements:
On track, there is no contact, spinning, drifting, leaving the paved racing surface or unsportsmanlike conduct. Drivers must keep control of the kart, follow marshal instructions and comply with the RaceSafety Kart Control System. Penalties or disqualification may be applied when required for safety.
Yes. Reservations are currently required for public Kartplex sessions. Use the live booking system to select an available date and time before travelling to the facility.
A standard Arrive + Drive Racing session is approximately 10 minutes. Multi-session packs and other formats may be available, while league, endurance, academy, RMax, and private events use different session structures.
Every public participant must hold a valid Kartplex Pit Pass or qualifying Kartplex or Area 27 membership. The Pit Pass supports access to rental-kart and league programs but does not automatically include race practice or event-entry privileges.
Published specifications vary by kart. Kartplex lists the R25 at more than 80 km/h, the R13 Mini at more than 70 km/h, and the advanced RMax at approximately 100 km/h. Actual speed depends on the kart, configuration, driver, conditions, and safety controls.
RMax is Kartplex's higher-performance rental-kart program. Before reserving an RMax session, a driver must complete a supervised R25 session, pass the RMax licence test, and reserve during designated practice hours. Separate pricing, Pit Pass, and availability requirements apply.
Yes. Kartplex offers rental-kart league racing, team endurance events, Rookie Racer, private coaching, workshops, and other development programs. Dates, eligibility, pricing, and kart requirements differ, so check the current Kartplex schedule and program pages.
Yes. Kartplex offers multi-session group packages for corporate events, team building, birthdays, bachelor or bachelorette parties, family events, and other private groups. Current packages use a minimum charge based on 15 drivers and can accommodate up to 65 drivers, with a 50 percent deposit at booking. Confirm current capacities, deposits, and package details when requesting a proposal.
Refund, credit, and cancellation rules differ for public bookings and private events. Kartplex may suspend running when conditions are unsafe, and weather-related cancellations may be handled with booking credit rather than a cash refund. Review the current Kartplex policy before purchasing.
