Area 27 members can compete in a constructive, professionally organized racing environment sanctioned by ORRA 27. The program combines close competition, thoughtful vehicle preparation and the camaraderie that has defined club racing at Area 27.

Championship Classes

Choose the Right Competition Path

GT27 Series

A cost-conscious entry-level championship designed to reward race craft, vehicle setup and consistency. Its equalization formula allows different eligible vehicles and brands to compete closely.

GT54 Series

Two divisions for Area 27's fastest full-bodied race cars. GT54E covers eligible paddle or sequential-shift cars, while GT54M is built around conventional transmissions and steel brake rotors.

Radical SR3 Series

A tightly controlled prototype championship using the Radical SR3 platform. Common technical requirements keep the emphasis on preparation, driver skill and close racing.

RS1 Series

A guest series that places drivers in purpose-built cars with arrive-and-drive support. Event participation and eligibility are confirmed with the series organizer and ORRA 27.

Eligibility matters. Drivers need the appropriate ORRA 27 licence before competing. Vehicle eligibility, class placement and current event requirements must be confirmed before registration.
